The production of the great Masters of Impressionism is so exceptional that it was difficult for me to discover new fields of exploration. My modest contribution to Impressionist Art is to use more texture in the treatment of my works, which implies a very thorough knowledge of color mixtures and, of course, to infuse my Impressionist production with a narrative spirit by telling the fictional or Provençal stories of the characters I portray in my works.
The romanticism that emanates from the impressionist touch is ideal for the treatment of certain subjects.
